The Manjeet Pride Group has organized the “My Eco-Friendly Bappa Workshop 2024” in association with Lokmat at Marathwada’s tallest project, One World. This unique event offers a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about our culture and traditions while immersing themselves in the festive spirit by creating their own eco-friendly Ganesha idols.
This initiative aims to raise awareness and inspire change by teaching children to craft Ganesha idols from sustainable materials. It not only reduces environmental harm but also inspires a sense of responsibility and creativity in the young minds who participate.
The workshop began with a warm welcome from the organizers, followed by a brief introduction to the significance of using eco-friendly materials in idol making. Over 400 students enjoyed crafting their own Ganpati idols using natural Shadu clay and organic colors, guided by experts. The joy and satisfaction on the faces of the participants, especially the children, were evident as they carefully molded their idols, knowing they were contributing to a greener world.
As we all know, the Manjeet Pride Group has already set a new standard in eco-friendly living with a half-acre jungle, treehouse, and play areas lush with greenery in their project. Now, the Eco-Friendly Bappa Workshop further solidified its commitment to sustainability and community engagement. The event not only provided a platform for creativity but also raised awareness about the importance of protecting the environment during festive celebrations. At the end of the workshop, participants expressed their gratitude and delight at being part of such a meaningful event.
