Manjeet Pride Group & Divya Marathi celebrate ‘freedom of expression’ on the occasion of Independence Day. They organized a unique event “Likho Apne Dil Ki Baat Divya Marathi Ke Sath” where citizens shared their thoughts, feelings and love for India on whiteboards across the Chh. Sambhajinagar city.
From the early hours of the morning, the spirit filled the air as citizens gathered to participate in this unique celebration at One World (Pratapnagar), Kranti Chowk, Connaught Place, TV Center, Nirala Bazar, Prozone Mall and Sudgirni Chowk. The event was conducted from 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The response was overwhelming, with participants of all ages contributing to this unique event and sharing their thoughts, poems and images that captured the spirit of the day.
At One World (Pratapnagar), the whiteboard quickly filled with messages of pride, hope, and unity. People wrote about the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, the progress India has made and their dreams for the future. They expressed their love for the country in simple and powerful words, while others shared their thoughts through poems, quotes and personal stories of how the nation’s progress had touched their lives, while others simply penned down their hopes and dreams for a brighter future.
The event at Kranti Chowk was equally inspiring, with families coming together to express patriotic sentiments. Children drew colorful pictures of the tricolor flag, while their parents and grandparents penned down their feelings of gratitude for the freedom they enjoy today. The whiteboard became a living record of the community’s collective spirit, showcasing the values and aspirations that unite us together.
One of the most satisfying aspects of this event was the way, it brought people together. Strangers became friends as they shared space on the whiteboards, discussing what Independence Day meant to them. The atmosphere was one of mutual respect, reminding everyone that, despite our differences, we are all part of the same nation.
By the end of the event, each whiteboard was a beautiful collage of patriotism, creativity and shared sentiments that reflected the deep connection citizens feel toward our country. This initiative by Divya Marathi and Manjeet Pride Group is a perfect example of how community engagement can bring people together to express their feelings and thoughts.
The success of this event is a powerful reminder that patriotism is not just about grand gestures but about the small, heartfelt expressions that come from your mind or heart. The overwhelming response from the community shows that the spirit of freedom and unity is very much alive and that people are enthusiastic to share their thoughts on what makes our nation proud.
